June 1st, 2021, Ryan Ziltner, Jeff Maliszewski, and Lexie D. Harris swung open the doors to Exit Professional Real Estate and hit the ground running. Since day one, these three have thrived in the Green County and the surrounding area. Driving around Green County, you will see the Exit Professional Real Estate signs everywhere, due in part to their continually growing staff of successful agents. Exit Professional Real Estate has offices on both the historic square in Monroe and in the historic town of New Glarus. In their first five months, they've forged a path to great success with their new business venture.
I have always been interested in real estate. I find myself checking the Zillow and Realtor apps on my phone multiple times per day. I grew up around the construction industry, so houses and the housing market have always been fascinating to me. I also really enjoy hearing about how people started in their careers. Being able to combine those interests and talk to three impactful real estate agents together was so much fun for me. We dove deep into the real estate careers for Jeff, Ryan, and Lexie. We talk about what drove them to real estate, the early days in real estate, the challenges and successes of being a real estate agent, and more. Ryan's dog even made a cameo appearance! Make sure to check out the YouTube video to see that! Jeff and Ryan also spoke about the housing market, here in Green County, on episode 11 of Wisco Legacy. I was stricken by the fact that we need 2,000 more homes in Green County over the next eight years just maintain our current level of growth for the county. Breaking it down further, Monroe, a town of 10,000 people, will need to add 500 homes over that same time span, New Glarus needs to add 80, and Monticello needs to add 50. With limited available land, where will we get the resources to find/build those homes?
Jeff, Ryan, and Lexie discussed the decision to come together to start Exit Professional Real Estate. These three all worked at different agencies before and decided to combine their skillset and passion for real estate into one owner/broker relationship, which has been great! I'm excited about the future growth of Exit Professional Real Estate. These three are committed to serving the greater Green County area with pride. They all grew up around here, went off to college, and came back to live and work in their hometowns. They all have a great sense of pride in finding the right home for the right person.
